Why must I be dirt-poor at the moment? !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , barn-find but looks reasonable, starting bid £400. The main thing is it's black and dem wheels :)

Main thing isn't the wheels, they are replaced easily . My issues would fairly concern the body-kit (?) mounted: Front-fenders, bonnet, rear-doors, it all looks weird/ugly IMO. Replacing/restoring all those will be a lot harder/more expensive I suppose.
AND WHAT'S WITH THE CAPSLOCK IN THAT OBJECT DESCIPTION?

NOT ONLY CAPSLOCK BUT NO PUNCTUATION AS WELL...
I don't think it's a bodykit actually. The front fenders are blistered a little, but I think that's stock on later cars (maybe just the 3.0l). I know they had narrow-body early cars and wider later cars.
TBH, they're slightly awkward cars to look at anyway, but I like them :)

HAHA WHO NEEDS PUNCTUATION AND NON-CAPITALS ANYWAY
Not sure if it was some UK-importer thing but over here on the continent the bodywork of the 3.0 V6 (QV, America) always has been like this:
AND YES IT IS AN AWESOME CAR WHICH AT ONE POINT IN YOUR LIFE YOU SHOULD HAVE OWNED

Everything looks like it's in decent enough condition, I could probably live with those wheels. My only concern would be how much it would take to get it in top notch mechanical condition.

Good point, it does look like a bodykit, but I'm fairly certain it was a factory one:

Agreed, especially seeing as it hasn't started in years. There's no real way of checking what's wrong, beyond trying to start it.
If I had £400 burning a hole in my pocket I'd definitely do it. I've got time to hang about doing work slowly on it :)

I'm fairly certain that the ebay one is both incomplete (as it lacks the bumber of the pictures you just posted) and overcomplete (as rear-door-thing and the hood-airvent are not on the pictures you just posted). The front fenders are from (or supposed to look like) the 75 Turbo Evoluzione. Which all your posted pictures are from as well. UK did officially not get the Evo but did have a somewhat similar Veloce-kit, which was only styling (not as low, different frontspoiler) if I remember correct. So it's probably some mash-up of things.
But, looking better at the pictures of the ebay-one you'd better leave it, it's a very, very tired example of the breed, just look at the bumper:

Sell your body. If you do it for cars/parts and not drugs, it's totally legit.

That's probably the best idea. If I had more money, I'd be buying lotsa cars.

I've got lotsa cars :) I just need to sell the one that I don't really want (BMW E36 325i), and part out the two that were crushed by a tree (Jaguar XJ40 and Fiat X1/9).
Then I'll have space/spare change for buying cars I want :)
Actually, who am I kidding? All my money will go on the Spitfire :S that needs finishing soon really

I think you might be right with all that. Still, tired is what I can afford at the moment, and I like fixing things so it's alright by me :)

Well, even with a small budget you can find better, just look at your XJ40! This one will probably end up leaving you with an even smaller budget for future projects ;-)

Very true, and I really should finish the Spitfire before buying anything else (unless something perfect comes along at a good price, like the Jaaag).
I really want a 3.0l transaxle Alfa though, and 75s are the cheapest/best handling way into that. I'd only really want one in black though :)

Not sure what an Alfa 90 2.5l does at the moment, these have been cheap as well for a long, long time. But first: FINISH YOUR SPIT6 BECAUSE YOU MUST TAKE IT TO THE RING NEXT YEAR

You're right, that should get first priority :)
90s are cool, but there's a couple of reasons I wouldn't get one. First is that they're not quite as good a drive as the 75, I think they've got the gearbox in the conventional location so the balance isn't as good. Second, I'd be surprised if there's more than 3 left in the UK. I've certainly only seen one for sale in the past 5 years, and that was a diesel :S

You, dear sir, are quite wrong. The 90 is a blast to drive. It has a Transaxle for better weight distribution (although Alfa never got the transaxle-priciple as good as Porsche), it has its rear discs mounted to the differential for better unsprung weight, all the features the 75 had as well. A friend of mine had a 90 Quadrifoglio Oro with a Savali tuned 3.0 V6 which I have very fond memories of. The GTV, 75 and 90 were all Alfetta derivatives. But your quite right about the fact there aren't many around. And checking mobile.de just yet: The good ones are not cheap anymore so sorry for waisting your time!

Not a waste of time at all :) here I was thinking the 90 was the poor man of the classic Alfa saloons and I'm all wrong :)
Thanks for the correction ;)
